So goes my crazy life – Sunday February 18, 2007

Uncategorized

> My sister and I single-handedly ran the shop AND the store, with the back-up support of some wonderful men – the machinist, the welder, the fabricator, and the service man.

> I had an accident biking home from work.  Nothing serious, but my bike needed some repair.  Thankfully, I know some people who do daily bike repairs.  The accident was inevitable.  After all, 50% of the people I know who bike to work, have been in an accident.  So, I only know two people who bike to work.  The one had an accident, the other didn’t.  According to our record, it’s more likely that you WILL have an accident.  It’s just a matter of when, and wether you’re carrying a pizza or not.

> The former agnostic/atheist was caught whisteling the tune “If you’re happy and you know it”.

> I very valiently attempted to make a delivery over the mountain in a rear-wheel drive pick-up, in a snowstorm.  Thank God for 4-wheel drive pick-ups and men who drive 4-wheel drive pick-ups, who are also capable of driving rear-wheel drive pick-ups and rescuing this damsel from distress.  Note to self:  when driving a rear-wheel drive pick-up in a snowstorm, avoid mountains at all cost.

> I put in a 50+ hour week.  I know, I know, some of you do that all the time, but have a life beyond work.  This week that meant I spent approx 7 hours on the road getting to my job (due to wonderful mother nature), spent too many hours shoveling out, spent some precious time with some dear neighbor girls over Hot Chocolate and cookies, and spent some time at the coffee shop with four people whom I call friends.

> Arrived home one night after a long day of work, walked in my door and it felt as cold inside, as out.  O.k., a bit of an exaggeration, but it was 60 degrees or colder.  After determining that the furnace seriously was not going to run, I called on some people (the kind of people I go to coffee shops with) and they came up and had my furnace running in just a couple minutes.

> Thank God for Sundays.  He knew what He was doing when He created a day of rest.

> And last of all. . .  I really like those people – the ones I go to coffee shops with.

in your fourth paragraph, could you please change deliver to its right form of delivery? it is nigh on driving me insane! thanks, and btw, shut up you  hahahahahaha, sorry just laughing at my own joke. (see what happens when you leave me hear alone! (also, right now i’m listening to a telemarketer explain why i am winning a trip to Hawaii. I am simply inserting “uh huh‘s  at the right spots before i wreck her world and tell her this is a business, which i’m pretty sure nullifies the terms of the “won trip” )

    later, m
